Midwest Film Festival’s Emerging Filmmaker Night to Screen 51ÉçÇø Alums’ Film
A film by 51ÉçÇø Cinema and Television Arts Alums Dalin Nelson ’21 (director) and Rachel Toenies ’21 (producer) has been selected as part of the Midwest Film Festival’s Emerging Filmmaker Night. The event will be held Monday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Gene Siskel Film Center at 164 N. State in Chicago.
The film, entitled Bliss, tells the story of a young girl’s estrangement from her negligent father, which becomes increasingly represented through the building of an elaborate doll house.
“We are so happy to showcase your work and bring it to as large an audience as possible,” wrote Carlos Rogelio Diaz, the Event Coordinator for the Midwest Film Festival.
The event starts with a social hour followed by screenings at 7:30, with a filmmaker Q&A after the show.
