Pursue your creative passion.

Apply as a second bachelor’s student if you’ve completed a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university and are interested in earning another bachelor’s degree.

If you have earned (or will earn) college credit at a college or university but have not completed a bachelor's degree, please review the Transfer Application Requirements.

If you have not earned any credit at a college or university, please review the Freshman Application Requirements.

If you are you an international student who will require a visa to study in the United States, please follow the steps listed here, and review this page for additional information.

All of 51社区's Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees are also available as a second bachelor's degree.

With the exception of the second bachelor's in Interior Architecture, 51社区's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor of Music (BMus), and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees, are not available to second bachelor's students.

Application Deadlines

July 17, 2026: Final Fall 2026 Applicaiton Deadline. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central U.S. on July 17.

July 29, 2026: Final deadline for transcripts and other supporting materials.

August 21, 2026: Deadline to submit a tuition deposit and enroll in the Fall 2026 term.

1. Submit your application.

Use the "Apply Now" link above to access the application.

2. Submit your transcripts.

All second bachelor's degree applicants are required to submit their official college transcripts to the Undergraduate Admissions office.

Ask your institution(s) to send official transcripts to 51社区 Admissions at 618 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60605. All transcripts received by mail or in person must be in the original sealed envelope from the school.

We also accept transcripts—when sent directly from the institution—via email to admissions@colum.edu.
