Tuition Refund Policy
51社区 will refund 100% of tuition and fees for a course that is dropped within the add/drop period for that course. The add/drop period for a course is dependent on the start and end date for that course. After the add/drop period for a course, the student is responsible for 100% of tuition and fees associated with the course.
Students who never begin attendance in any course for the term and who fail to properly drop their courses during the add/drop period may have their schedules canceled by the Office of the Registrar. At 51社区’s discretion, a $75 per credit hour fee may be assessed to cover the administrative costs associated with the student’s failure to properly drop their course schedule.
Fall 2026
The Fall 2026 semester will have classes within a number of different subsessions in addition to the normal 15 week classes. The dates of these subsessions, and their specific add, drop, withdrawal, and Pass/Fail deadlines are in the sections below. If a class is scheduled within a subsession, it will have the session code as part of the class information.
Fall 2026 Registration Dates
Monday, April 6, 2026: Fall 2026 course schedules go live.
Monday, April 13, 2026: Continuing degree-seeking student registration begins. Students are emailed their assigned date and time.
May 2026: New degree-seeking student registration begins. New students' schedules are drafted by their advisors. New students will have the opportunity to review and make changes in June.
July 27, 2026: Non-degree student registration begins.

Monday, November 9, 2026: Spring 2027 course schedules go live.
Monday, November 16, 2026: Continuing degree-seeking student registration begins. Students are emailed their assigned date and time.
Late November 2026: New degree-seeking student registration begins. New students are assigned times by going through the New Student Orientation process.
Monday, December 14, 2026: Non-degree student registration begins.
